Questions parents actually ask

28If yours is not here, ask it on the free call.

Does this replace his club coach?

No, and we are careful about that. His club is his primary environment and we never ask him to skip a club session. Our work is built to fit around it — we even count club training as his main training load. If his coach has questions, we will write something you can forward.

He is 13. Is he too young?

Thirteen is our minimum. At that age the work looks different: less loading, more technical development, and much more attention to growth. We would rather build habits at 13 than fix them at 17.

He is 18 and about to graduate. Is it too late?

It is later, and we will say so honestly. At 18 the runway is short and the work shifts heavily toward film, outreach and finding the right level — including options a lot of families never consider, like junior college or a post-graduate year. What we will not do is take your money while pretending there is more time than there is.

What is the mindset work, actually?

A monthly module plus prompts he answers in the app — how he handled a bad game, what he told himself at a tryout, where his confidence went after being dropped. Nico leads it because he has been through the same things at professional level. On Elite it also includes a one-to-one call focused purely on the mental side. It is coaching, not therapy, and we will say so if something needs a professional.

What about gym work at his age?

Age-appropriate only, and reviewed by our strength and conditioning coach. No barbell back squats, no maximal testing, no heavy spinal loading for a growing athlete. If he is mid growth spurt we will reduce his gym work on purpose and explain why.

My son plays for two clubs. Is that a problem?

It might be, and we will tell you. The platform tracks total load across every source — club, school, us, other sports. If the combined number is unsafe for his age you will see a red flag with the reason in plain English, and we will suggest what to drop rather than adding more.

What happens right after I pay?

You get an email invite within minutes — payment creates an invitation, not an account, because you set it up rather than us creating a login for a minor. You complete a 10-minute onboarding questionnaire covering his schedule, injuries, equipment, diet and goals. His first plan is with you within 72 hours, reviewed and signed by Albert or Nico before it reaches him.

How long until his first plan?

Within 72 hours of the questionnaire being completed. Not instantly, and that is deliberate — a plan generated in ten seconds is a template, and a template is what you can already get for $19.

How much of my time does this take?

Almost none. Your son logs sessions in about thirty seconds a day. You do one check-in a month, which takes about three minutes, and you can read as much or as little of the detail as you want.

Can I see everything he sees?

Yes — and more. You see his plans, his load, his wellbeing and every message. There is no private channel between an adult and your child anywhere in this platform. You are automatically part of every conversation.

Who else is in the community, and is it safe?

Other FootballPath families, and the coaching team. Every channel has an adult from our team in it, there are no private messages between members at all, you can read any channel your child is in, and every post has a report control that goes to a safeguarding contact rather than to the coach. It is deliberately not a Discord server.

What are the community lives?

Weekly group video sessions — a film room where we break down clips players have sent in, Q&As, and guest sessions with the coaching team. They are all recorded, so training does not mean missing out. If your child is under 18, attendance is a setting you control.

What if he gets injured?

Tell us immediately. We are coaches, not clinicians — we do not diagnose or rehabilitate. What we do is put the plan on hold, flag it, and point you to the right professional. Training through pain is the single most common way a promising young player loses a season.

Do you do video analysis, and what do I actually get?

On Compete and above. You send a full match or a long clip, and you get a timestamped breakdown of decisions — not a highlight reel. Each note links to a drill that lands in his next block, so the feedback turns into work rather than just commentary.

What is the difference between Compete and Elite?

Compete gives you the full plan set, a monthly film analysis and a monthly call. Elite adds the recruiting module — target school list, coach contact tracker, outreach templates — plus direct access to the coaching team, a second film analysis and a dedicated mindset session with Nico. If your son is more than two years from graduating, Compete is usually the right call and we will say so.

How do I upgrade or change programme?

From Billing in your parent portal — there is an upgrade page showing exactly what changes, what it costs, and what is added mid-cycle. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. We ask you to speak to us before downgrading, not to talk you out of it, but because sometimes the right answer is a different programme rather than none.

How does the recruiting side work?

We help you build a realistic target list, get his film and profile in order, track who has been contacted and when, and stay on the right side of the NCAA calendar. We advise families — we are not agents, we do not represent players, and we never claim a relationship with a programme that does not exist.

Can you guarantee a scholarship?

No. Anyone who does is selling you something. Around 7% of US high school boys’ players go on to play college soccer at any level and roughly 1.1% reach NCAA Division I. We make players recruitable and we are honest about the odds.

What is your refund policy?

It is a performance guarantee rather than a cooling-off window. If we do not publish the first plan within 72 hours of you completing the questionnaire — or we miss a film analysis or call you were owed that month — you get a full refund on request. We do not refund a month that has already been delivered, because you had a free assessment and a written report before paying anything and the plan is real work by named professionals. You can cancel any time and you are never billed again.

What if we prepay and then need to stop?

You are refunded the unused whole months at the standard monthly rate rather than your discounted one. You keep the discount for the months you actually used. If something serious happens — a season-ending injury, a family emergency — talk to us. We refund in those cases and we do not make it difficult.

Do you have promo codes?

Sometimes. Founding members get their first month free, and families who refer a teammate get a discount. Codes go in at checkout. If you were given one and it does not work, message us rather than paying full price and hoping.

How does Team Track work if we are a group?

Each family pays their own $97 per month — nobody is chasing anyone else for money. But the squad is linked: a cohort needs three paid families before it starts, because below that it is not really group coaching. The moment the third family pays, everyone gets access at once. If a squad never reaches three within fourteen days, every family is refunded in full automatically.

Do you work in Spanish?

Yes. Both founders are native Spanish speakers playing professionally in Bolivia. Calls, plans and messages can all be in Spanish, and this site has a language toggle at the top.

What if it is not working?

There is no long-term contract on monthly plans. We also ask you to rate the programme every month, and a low score books a call with us automatically. We would much rather have that conversation than watch you quietly cancel.

Can we pause over the off-season?

Yes. Pausing keeps your founding rate and keeps the record intact — it is not a cancellation. That said, the off-season is often when the most useful work happens, so talk to us before you do it.

How do you handle our data?

Health and wellness information is treated as sensitive: encrypted, access-controlled, never used for marketing, and never visible to business staff. You can export everything at any time, and you can ask us to delete it.

What happens to our record if we stop?

It stays yours. Every plan, report and note remains readable, and you can export the whole thing whenever you like. Cancelling makes the account read-only, not empty.

Can a whole team join?

That is what Team Track is for — groups of three to eight at $97 per player per month. It works best when the players already train together and want one shared system rather than eight different ones.

Start with the free assessment

Thirty minutes on video. We look at where he is, what he is aiming at, and whether those two things line up. You leave with a written assessment either way — there is no obligation and no pressure, and if we are not the right fit we will say so.
